I'm sorry I have been neglecting this journal for a while now but starting high school and other stuff kind of stole my time away. And well, recently I just kind of forgot about it and made a new blog.
I might be posting now and then but don't expect something. I might just disappear like last time, though I'll try not to.

hopefulAnyway since I haven't bought anything in quite a while I had some money on my bank account. So I decided to buy the other lens I wanted, canon EF 50/1.8 II.
I already ordered it so I guess it'll jump down my mail box in a couple of days. :D
And I've got my first job as a photographer too. Some days this week I'll go and take some pictures of a hockey team training. I'm really excited since I love ice hockey. XD
This'll be good training for me and my photographing skillz. (note the Z)

Dad said that he would buy me a new lens for my camera as a reward for working hard and improving my grades.
He said that he would buy me the Canon EF-S 55-250/4-5.6 IS or I could choose one of the same price class.
So right now I'm having trouble deciding.
This is the two lenses I want. Canon EF-S 55-250/4-5.6 IS is a telezoom lens which is overall good and only get good critics.
The other one, Canon EF 50/1.8 II is a lens good for portraits and close ups, it is also good at taking photos of concerts. It's many who complain about the quality and the plasticness of the lens though it's cheap regarding what you pay for and it seems it's a must have in your camera bag.
I mostly take these kinds of photos so which lens do you think suits me best?
